Starting with our January 2025 boxes, we will offer 3 total box plans- Bookish Box: Book Only, Darkly Box: Book Only, and Bookish & Darkly Box: Book Only Bundle. We will no longer be offering box plans that include goodies or shirts.

Before the January 2025 box renewal (occurring December 20th), subscription plans including goodies or shirts will automatically be changed to the Book Only option. With this, if you are on a Darkly Box: Book & Goodies Box plan, you will renew for a Darkly Box: Book Only box for the January 2025 box (December 20th's renewal). Similarly, if you are on a Bookish Box: Book, Shirt & Goodies box plan, you will renew for a Bookish Box: Book Only box for the January 2025 box (December 20th's renewal).

No action is needed to be taken by any customer to switch to a Book Only Box plan. This change will occur automatically. If you would no longer like to receive subscriptions starting with our January 2025 box, you would want to cancel your subscription before December 20th's renewal occurs.

No, in fact, if you are on a plan including goodies, you will be paying less than you currently are.

No. The skip policy will stay as is. You are given 2 skips per 12-month period. However, due to the current delays we are experiencing with our monthly boxes, we have opted to give leniency on oour skip policy. For now, we are allowing up to 4 skips in a 12-month period. With this, at this time your subscription will only be canceled due to skips if you skip more than 4 times in a 12-month timeframe. This update to our skip policy will be removed when we are no longer facing extended delays.

After the January Box Renewal occurs, we will combine all Bookish waitlists together to create one Bookish Book Only Waitlist. We will also combine all Darkly waitlists together to create one Darkly Book Only Waitlist. When the waitlists are merged, the order will still be based on the original waitlist sign-up date-- meaning invites will still be sent on first come, first serve.

To switch to the Book Only Bundle Box plan, you will need to join the waiting list here. However, if you are on a Bookish Book Only box plan and a Darkly Book Only box plan, you can email our Customer Service Team (hello@thebookishbox.com) to swap to the Bundle Box plan.

Yes, the Cover-Lust Stickers will still be included in your monthly box.

This is an additional monthly subscription offered to active Bookish Box and/or Darkly Box Subscribers. An active subscriber is someone whose account is set to active, not canceled. With this subscription, you pay $15.00 a month and receive a $20.00 shop credit.

The shop credit can be used on all purchases at The Bookish Shop, excluding subscription services.  This means you can use the shop credit for preorders! The shop credit comes in the form of an e-gift card, so you are able to stack and save credits for larger purchases. Also, because it is an e-gift card, if you don't use all of your shop credit at once, the remaining balance stays on your e-gift card for future use.

The Shop Subscription has unlimited skips. We will open spots on December 10th for all active subscribers. On December 10th, active subscribers can head to the Members Only Shop, select the "Shop Subscription" listing, and proceed to checkout. Renewals for this plan will occur on the 10th of every month. For example, if you subscribe from December 10th to January 8th, your account will automatically renew on January 10th.

3. Select "My Orders"
4. Select "Manage Subscriptions"
5. Select "Edit" on your active subscription

KINDLY NOTE: Canceling your subscription will ensure your account no longer renews for upcoming renewals. However, any Shop Credits you've already purchased will not be canceled/refunded.
